A sulfate-free shampoo for medium to thick color-treated hair that cleanses gently while guarding color against fading, and leaves hair smooth with strong shine and less frizz.
Hair type: fine, medium, and thick. Hair texture: straight, wavy, and curly. Hair concerns: color safety, damage, split ends and breakage, and dryness.
The formula is built around lactic acid and centella asiatica extract, part of an acid blend aimed at the different levels of color-induced damage, helping hair recover without stripping its color. In controlled studies of the routine, color was protected from fading and hair measured 95 percent smoother. The formula has no sulfates SLS and SLES.
To use: apply a quarter-size amount to wet hair, add water and emulsify, then rinse. Repeat for a second, richer lather through the lengths, and rinse again.
