Ferulic acid protects and locks in color vibrancy, and citric acid neutralizes unwanted tones so color stays true. In instrumental testing, the mask delivered 98 percent strength and 92 percent hydration right away, with softness still measurable 72 hours later. The formula is free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, and sulfates SLS and SLES, and is vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. Its fruity scent opens with metallic greens and citrus, moves through crunchy rhubarb, and finishes with sandalwood, vanilla, and amber. To use: after shampooing, work the mask through damp hair in two sections from lengths to ends, detangling with your fingers. Leave three to five minutes and rinse well. Once a week it can replace conditioner for an extra dose of softness. Strong scent This L’Oreal hair mask is really good! It’s moisturize and strengthens the hair nicely, but I just can’t get over how strongly scented all of their products I’ve tried are! It’s too overpowering. It’s not a bad smell. It’s just VERY strong. So beware if you are sensitive to scents
