I feel like I want to revise my initial review of this fragrance because, after letting it sit for a few weeks. The scent changed from boozy pipe tobacco into a boozy apple cider with cinnamon and caramel. Plus, it had far more depth. I went from thinking that it was just okay to considering the need for a larger decant of it in the future. It's nice on its own, but I really value it as a layering fragrance. I've tried it with both Shalimar and Spicebomb to create more boozy and caramel versions of the original scent.

This to me smells like a cinnamon roll that has seen some stuff, drank too much, gotten in some trouble along the way. Still has some sweetness under all that woodsy darkness but it is enticing and bewitching. Needless to say I am that roll and this is my signature scent. 5 stars all the way.

I'd heard so many great things about this fragrance that didn't quite translate into reality. For me, it smelled like someone had macerated pipe tobacco with alcohol. So, it has a deep, warm boozy pipe tobacco smell. That's nice. However, it's missing top and middle notes for me. I didn't get the cinnamon or the apple pie others have mentioned. So, it leaves me feeling kind of bereft when I give it a smell. I'll try it again under different weather conditions and see what I get. However, I'm underwhelmed for now. When it faded in a few hours, I replaced it with Vanilla 28 for a similar feel with more depth.
